...and so, after months and months of preparing our Asheville house to be sold, and 6 weeks of negotiating with the buyers, we have successfully completed the sale and made the move to the wonderful state of West Virginia.

We are very happy with our new house, just three blocks out of downtown Lewisburg. It is a quick walk to a really nice coffee shop, two bakeries, a health food store, and a few bars and pubs. We are quickly mapping all the nice back street evening walks to enjoy as well.

It has also been wonderful to be so close to grandma and grandpa. They love you so much, and I know they are really happy that we have moved back to this area. So far, we have seen them a few times a week. Usually they stop by to visit once or twice during the week, and we have gone out to their house almost every weekend for dinner. Once we even spent the night in the treehouse!

You seen to really enjoy going out to grandma and grandpa's house. You really like all the doggies, the horse and the donkey, and especially playing in the creek. YOUR FIRST EASTER EGG HUNT

Saturday, April 3rd

Our first weekend in our new house just happened to be Easter Weekend, so of course we had to have an Easter egg hunt in our new yard. It didn't take you long to figure out the game, and soon enough you were off searching the yard for more treasures. Of course you wanted to open each egg as soon as you found it and see what goody awaited within.

 

 

 

OUR NEW HOUSE

We all really like our new house. It's a little bigger than our last house, which is nice, and it feels layed out much better. You have your own room, which you seem to like very much. We're still very much getting settled, but we're all enjoying making our new house into our new home.

 

 

 

WALKING AROUND TOWN

Monday, April 12th

Mommy has begun getting substitute jobs in the schools, so you and I are once again on our own. It feels like old times, me and you walking around town, hanging out, having fun together. Today we stolled around and played in the little park in the middle of town.

 

 

 

FIRST TIME BOWLING

Tuesday, April 20th

So during the week that Lukas was visiting us, we decided to take you bowling for the first time ever. We weren't sure what you would think about it, although we figured you'd like watching the balls roll down the alley. You actually made it through one whole game, and you really seemed to enjoy pushing the ball down the little toddler ramp and watching it roll down into the pins. You also very much enjoyed the ball return machine, watching your pink ball pop back up out of the dark tunnel. We just had to make sure you didn't climb in there looking for it. We look forward to taking you again someday.
